Prom 2014

This is my first year going to prom. I've been looking forward to it for a long time. I had many ideas for my prom dress and what the night was going to be like. When it came my expectations were blown away! I'm grateful for the people who helped me.

My dress was pretty easy to make, but 18" of tulle was a lot of fabric to work with.

My mock dress

We made a mock dress to see if my design would work. Well let's just say its a good thing we made a mock dress.

My design

The finished project, it took me maybe 20-25 hours. Best idea of my life. 

My cousin Amber had a date so I (thought) was going to their bishop's house for dinner. I got the surprise of my life!

Amber planned it all. She asked my uncles and cousin to take me to dinner and escort me to prom. My Prince Charming got stuck in a tree.

It was the best night of my life and totally unforgettable! I had a wonderful time! I even made a new best friend!
